Electrolytes are also essential for the maintenance of normal blood pH (lowered blood pH is known as acidosis).Spark Liquid Concentrate is a blend of body salts and readily absorbed energy in a liquid format. The liquid concentrate is easily mixed into drinking water, added to feeds or diluted for direct crop administration.
In very hot conditions, eg when the temperature exceeds 38°C, Spark should be given in the normal drinking water as the birds will be losing large amounts of fluid via their respiration. Spark Liquid Concentrate is the perfect addition to the First Aid kit of the birdkeeper. In fact it should become a standard tool to use whenever birds are to be shipped or handled and again whenever stress or illness occur.
Directions: Spark Liquid Concentrateis added to the drinking water or may be crop needled if necessary.
Drinking water dose is 5 mLs per 250 mLs.
Crop Needle dose is 5 mLs in 50mLs of water and then give 1 mL per 100 grams body weight.
Active Constituents: 20g/L Potassium ions, 30g/L Citrate ions, 23g/L Bicarbonate ions, 21g/L Sodium ions, 136g/L Glucose.
